Choose a Training Split That Fits Your Week
The best training split is one you can complete, recover from and progress. Start with the days you can protect reliably, then organise the work across them.
Two or three available days
Full-body sessions can distribute the main movement patterns across a limited week. Keep the exercise menu manageable and avoid trying to compress an advanced six-day workload into two visits.
Four or more available days
An upper/lower split can divide the work when several weekly sessions are realistic. More sessions are useful only if the plan still allows recovery and does not become a cycle of missed days.
Choose by the record, not the label
Compare attendance, performance and recovery across a block. A well-executed simple split is more informative than changing between fashionable programs every week. Review the plan after travel, illness or a major schedule change.
